Camp with us at SunCampDR! Located at the end of Muñoz typical village, our campgrounds offer you beautiful nature, astonishing views…. (2km across Playa Dorada tourist complex in Puerto Plata), at 8 km from the Gregorio Luperon, Puerto Plata airport, north coast, Dominican Republic.

Actually our campgrounds are right on site at SuncampDR, after entering the gate. We have specific location in nature where you can set up your tent and be very safe. If you wish, you can share with all other renters at SunCampDR. All guests and campers come for a simple life and rich values.

Join a group of happy people and AMAZING sceneries! Join us at the Papagayo typical bar-restaurant to get to know others who enjoy SunCampDR!

Services:

Activities Offered:

You can book all activities: Spanish lessons, Horseback Riding, Catamaran, Deep Sea Fishing, Ocean World Park (dolphins), Rafting, Jeep Safari plus all excursions around the island. We will give you a few tips…and better rates for sure!

You can also enjoy all activities going on in Munoz typical village and puerto Plata: baseball games, coq fights, special celebrations, dancing in the typical discos, farm visiting, religious events, etc.

You are also welcome to join our volunteer project and give a little time to share with the local people at our community center in the village!

Public transportation is very economical and takes you every 4 minutes to the beach or to the city.

Prices for camping:

• Per night per tent of 2 people: $10 US
• Per week per tent of 2 people: $50 US
• Per month per tent of 2 people: $90 US

Additional:

$1 US/night per person extra in the tent

$1 US / day to use basically kitchen with propane gas stove.

 

 STARCAMP If  you did not bring your own tent!

All facilities, kitchen, Wifi internet, great view to Isabel de Torres mountain and Amapolis trees and sugar cane fields…great Sunsets!

StarCamp Chalet  is a concept designed by our volunteer architect Bernard Fredette. The tetrahede shape and other fetures of the construction makes the construction resist seism such as earth quake and hurricane.

You are welcome to lodge in the house as a camping experience. The StarCamp is located on top of the hill of the property and can lodge 10 persons. You have access to all the grounds and the natural pool at suncampDR. Wi-Fi internet and access to shower with hot water.

Prices:

• Per night per person: $10 US
• Per week per person: $60 US
• Per month per person: $190 US
